Michael Isakson

Michael Isakson is the retired President and COO of ServiceMaster Franchise Services Group, an international franchise services company. Mike was responsible for the development and growth of more than 5,000 franchises worldwide with sales totaling more than $2 billion annually. As part of the $4 billion ServiceMaster Company, Mike led ServiceMaster Clean, Merry Maids, Furniture Medic and AmeriSpec brands, which specialize in residential and commercial cleaning services, disaster restoration, on-site furniture repair, and home inspections.

Mike is also active in the International Franchise Association. He has served on the IFA Board of Directors, the IFA Executive Committee and from 2007-2008 was Chairman of the International Franchise Association. Currently, Mike is Treasurer of the IFA Educational Foundation. He has served as a guest lecturer at the Harvard School of Business, speaking on “The Service Profit Chain.”

Douglas Pound

Douglas E. Pound is the recently-retired Senior Vice President of ServiceMaster Franchise Services Group, an international franchise services company. ServiceMaster has sales totaling over $2 billion annually in over 30 countries. Working with ServiceMaster Clean, Furniture Medic and AmeriSpec, Doug was responsible for overseeing all operations for the company’s 5,000 franchises. His duties included market expansion, products sales and warehousing, IT and training. As part of his responsibility to manage field directors and managers, Doug spent a major amount of his time working in the field with franchisees. He also helped create and refine all the long-term strategic plans for the three franchisers.

James Wassell

Jim Wassell’s experience has stretched from entrepreneur to corporate boardroom. Jim joined Federal Express in 1976, immediately following his graduation from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Marketing. His 10-year career with Federal Express provided a solid platform for the development of his customer insight and customer experience capabilities along with leadership and team building skills.

For the last 15 years, Wassell has served as Chief Marketing Officer for the ServiceMaster Franchise Services Group, which included industry leading brands ServiceMaster Clean, Furniture Medic, and AmeriSpec. He also concurrently spent six years in the same position with Merry Maids. During that tenure, the company increased international and domestic growth from $300 million to $1.9 billion.
